One Nation, Under God

Over the past several weeks, I have learned that the one thing that the Obama administration has definitely accomplished since taking office is that it has revealed the extreme divisions among our citizens. These divisions are racial, political, cultural, and ideological. They have always existed, but I don’t think they have ever been demonstrated and articulated as much at any time in the past. I thought I’d put in my 2 cents!
Fact: Obama does continually apologize for the United States of America all over the world. This demonstrated both his weakness as President, and his apparent disdain for our country.
Fact: Obama’s administration is filled with people who have shady pasts and many who come from the same Chicago style politics that gave birth to his career.
Fact: Obama promised to have a ‘transparent’ government. He lied. His government has been one of the most secretive I can remember.
Fact: Obama’s administration has demonstrated on several occasions that it/he does not care what the American people want…his/their agenda is the only thing that matters.
Fact: Obama’s agenda is bankrupting our country. It is true that this financial fiasco began before he took office, but he was supposed to fix it, not increase the deficit. His agenda apparently includes the government take-over of businesses of all types and sizes, and leads towards government control of even more of our lives than ever before.
Fact: While Obama tells us that we must ‘tighten our belts’, he spends millions of dollars flying around in his (our) big airplane. Most of the trips are political in nature, or personal trips. I wonder just how much of our tax dollars he has spent since taking office on his “flight-plans”.
Fact: Obama is holding our border security hostage to try to force republicans into giving him the comprehensive immigration reform he wants. Is it not obvious (even to you who support him) that his immigration plan is mired in political gains and not a humanitarian effort? Obama knows that he needs to enlist supporters through amnesty if he has any hope of winning a second term.
Fact: Obama lied to the American people before and since his election on so many subjects that it is impossible to list them all. Regardless of public opinion, he and his administration continue on their path towards socialism.
Fact: Obama promised that there would be no lobbyists within his government, so after a year and a half of breaking that promise, he has moved those meeting to a coffee house across from the White House. The problem is the same, only the venue has changed.

The culture of corrupt politics; lies, closed door deals, irresponsible spending, disdain for the American people, and the Constitution of the United States of America should be matters that have all Americans concerned and should transcend party lines.

The most surprising thing about the situations his Presidency has uncovered is the vast number of socialists within our country. We are becoming a nation of cowards who are beginning to apologize to everyone; we tolerate illegal immigration; we tolerate our own citizens being prevented from celebrating America if their celebrating “might” offend someone from another country; we tolerate the placement of cultural and religious centers in our own ‘back yard’, even if such placements might offend an American. The entire thing is upside-down.

I am NOT advocating a policy of racism, or religious persecution. I am simply saying that we, as American citizens had better come together quickly, before there are so few of us that coming together will have no effect on our country.
The situation in this country is no different than the situation at our southern border. You MUST secure the situation first, and then we can work to refine our policies.

As Americans, we have to come together now more than ever before if we are to preserve our freedom and our dignity. Regardless of whether you support Obama or not, I want to believe that you support the Constitution and are willing to fight to preserve it.

We have to stop the irresponsible spending in D.C.; we have to stop the corruption that exists in D.C.; we have to hold elected officials accountable for their actions while they are in office; we have to make ourselves heard as One Nation, Under God!
